Here are some style frames for a mock advertisement for the Sundance Film Festival.
This project allowed me to create my first multi-pose character. Although my three dimensional work is primarily for static illustrations, I have a background in motion graphics and have wanted to make use of both of my skill sets in a single piece of work.
I was given that opportunity to create these style frames as if this was going to be a stop-motion short commercial. Although I never had to complete any motion, I decided a character with the ability to move into different poses and expressions would be useful to learn. As I delve further into the world of motion graphics, I hope to integrate my character sculpting skills more and more, perhaps in stop-motion animation.
